![]() ![]() I think my favorite part of this story was that it wasn’t all about King and Lo. ![]() Both have to fight to follow their dreams and find that balance between what and who they love. King is also passionate about the people and things he loves. She’s passionate about the things and the people she loves. “If you tell me you’re going to draw me.” Then she finds him in the most unlikely way she could have imagined. She can’t stop thinking about him, can’t stop drawing him, but life goes on. She remembers so much about him, but not any important details. And she had one life chaining night with a guy and she can’t remember it all. The blurb is fairly vague but several trusted friends recommended this author so I jumped in. When I started this book I wasn’t so sure what it was about. A story that will give you hope and by the end, make you a very happy reader. It’s a story of self discovery, of being the best you possible. The Weight of Rain is a beautifully written romance that is more than just a love story. This is the first book I’ve read by Mariah Dietz, but it certainly won’t be the last. ![]()
